Attention Prefix and Award hunters - special event station YL35WAY.
Activity is held to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the "Baltic Way" Period: 23.08.2024 00:00 GMT to 31.08.2024 23:59 GMT
Operation will take place from several locations on all bands (160 meters to 23 centimeters) including WARC and VHF/UHF) and modes (CW, SSB, RTTY, FTx).
There could be several stations active on different slots at the same time.
Special electronic Award will be available to download from QSL.Services
All possible computerized modes (RTTY, FT4, FT8 etc) counts as DATA and all possible voice modes (SSB, AM, FM etc) counts as PHONE.
To obtain the Award applicants must collect at least 35 points on regular band and mode slot (CW, PHONE, DATA) basis. Each QSO score five points for PHONE, CW modes, for all DIGI modes each qso scores as 3 points.
Repeated QSO on the same band/mode give 0 points.
VHF bands 6m to 23cm give 2 times more points for each QSO
Stations outside Europe receive 2 times more points for each QSO
Three best scores outside Latvia will get personalized T-shirt
SWLs earn single point for every QSO under the same rules. To apply for the Award send your ADIF SWL log extract to [email protected]
Log will be uploaded to LoTW, eQSL, qrz.com.

To qualify for the award, the operator must achieve a minimum of 35 points and is responsible for creating their own diploma.
